Trained in treatments based on effectiveness and scientific evidence. Member of the National Association of Social Workers of Texas, United States, the Venezuelan Federation of Psychologists and the College of Psychologists of Venezuela.

She has based most of her work in assessment, research, clinical interventions, psychoeducation and work in interdisciplinary teams in health care and social responsibility centers.

Elena is speaker, researcher, and writer with a unique human and social sense.

Ha dedicado más de 16 años de su vida a la atención psicológica a niños, niñas, adolescentes, adultos, familias y grupos que han experimentado traumas complejos, polivictimización, duelo y problemas de salud mental en comunidades multiétnicas incluyendo inmigrantes hispanoamericanos y refugiados africanos.

In her downtime, Elena devotes time to meditation, Christian reflection and music. From an early age, she uses singing, spirituality and faith as coping and contemplative strategies.
